Step 2: Next, attach the 2×4’s to the 4×4’s using the 1 inch screws, making sure that the 2×4’s are centered on the 4×4’s. Then, attach the plywood to the 2×4 frame using the 3/4 inch screws.
Step 3: Now, it’s time to attach the solar panel to the frame. First, find the center of the plywood and mark it. Then, find the center of the solar panel and mark it. Next, align the two marks and attach the solar panel to the plywood using the 1/2 inch screws.
Step 4: Now, cut the 1×4 lumber into four 8 foot long pieces. Then, cut the 1×6 lumber into four 8 foot long pieces. Next, attach the 1×4’s to the frame using the 3/4 inch screws, making sure that they are evenly spaced. Then, attach the 1×6’s to the frame using the 1 inch screws, again making sure that they are evenly spaced.
Your stand is now complete! Place it in a sunny spot and enjoy the power of the sun!
